About Dutch in Dordrecht

Dutch in Dordrecht is more than just a language school. We bring together people of different nationalities and cultures with one goal: for our students to feel at home in the Netherlands. We achieve this by offering language courses at every level, and by organising fun activities in which students get to know better not only the language, but also the country and its culture.

Dutch in Dordrecht was founded in 2014 by Tanja van Joolingen, a Masters graduate in Education. Over the years the Dutch in Dordrecht team has grown, but we have not lost sight of the importance of small scale and personal attention. All teachers have their own specialisation, and there is one thing we have in common: a passion for transferring knowledge in a fun and interactive way. With our knowledge and experience, we motivate and inspire people to learn and understand the Dutch language and culture in a laid-back and flexible way.

Dutch in Dordrecht aims to achieve the best possible result, without losing sight of the ‘fun’ aspect. Through active working methods and up-to-date teaching material, the lessons are challenging and varied, making learning easier. It is important that the subject matter can be used in everyday life.
